David Davou Choji

David Davou Choji (popularly known as Big D) was born to the family of Hon. Vincent G. Choji (JP) on the 22nd day of May, 1977 at the Jos University Teaching Hospital. He attended Mago Model Primary School, Rock Haven, Jos from 1984 to 1990.

His secondary education was at St. Murumba College and Ecwa Staff School, Jos between 1990 and 1996. In 2004 he came to Youth With A Mission for his Discipleship Training School (DTS) after which he enrolled on staff. Until his death he was on the staff list of YWAM Port Harcourt. He was handling the vehicles in the base.

The last two or so months of his life has been so busy driving the team to and from work everyday; carrying them around for all other activities.

He is fondly remembered by the song “Radical for Jesus”. Such a gifted young man, as the occasion arises he composes songs to reach out to people wherever he goes. His sense of humor and quickness to repent and understand issues is amazing. Honesty is one of his trademarks.
