Jeff was on the training staff with YWAM Tyler as well as a member of their GAP team where he loved to share the Gospel through dance and creative expression. He was a wonderful example of Christ-likeness, an encourager and friend. Jeff contracted meningitis and died in the vibrant prime of his life, but he has left all he knew better for knowing him.
I was a young kid when I met Jeff. He came through our town with the Gap team and he instantly became a close part of our family. He visited us often throughout the years up until his death. He had became like a brother to me and taught me so much, about life, about God and about basketball too. I am always so grateful to God for being able to know him for the time that I did. There is almost not a day that goes by that I don’t think about him. I can’t wait to see him in heaven. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share.
Jeff was a dear friend that we had the honor to know during the 1986-1987 Gap Team days.
We have never forgotten his impact on our lives.
