We are thankful to the Lord for a life well lived – a faithful husband, father and colleague to the end.
I had the honour and pleasure of knowing john Bowles and served with him on more than one Cursillo weekend in the Anglican Diocese of Armidale. I have just this minute learned of his passing. I remember him to be a man of the Gospel, of humble demeanour and whose life was dedicated to serving his Lord and his fellow men. I counted him as a true friend, though we were separated by distance for the last 30 years or so. Looking forward to that great day when we shall meet again.
