Karin Lautrup Ramachandra

From Sam and Pat Sarvis – We have such wonderful memories of Karin. I think she may have been the first one we met when we went to Aran in 1981. Also the first one to meet us when we came back home with our first son Luke. The one who babysat him (or possibly him and Rachel) so we could go to a Marriage Encounter weekend in Bangkok. She was the one who seemed to adore our children, more than anyone (maybe even including us!). She was also an incredible hardworking servant of everyone in our team out on the border (and later in Bangkok). And a never-ending source of joy, fun and laughter to us and our children. A wonderful, powerful, deeply spiritual, enjoyable and kind picture of Jesus to all who knew her. Though we’ve only met her a handful of times in the past 20+ years, she will be missed but never forgotten.

  1. I agree that Karin was an excellent person and servant of the Lord. I met her a number of times in Thailand in the early 80’s as we were beginning to pioneer in India. Karin was a source of joy, fun, laughter, and spiritual encouragement to people who journeyed through Thailand in those days. Can’t say enough about her. just a gem of a person! – Mike Bordon
