Walter and Chris did their DTS on the Kona Base in 1996. Upon completing they returned to Canada.
They returned to the YWAM base in Kona, Hawaii in 2016 to work as staff with the Crossroads program alongside their DTS leader Bob Hopkins. Later, they became part of the Word Alive program.
In 2019 God called them back to Canada, where they reside in Headingley MB. They have 3 grown daughters and 5 grandchildren.
Their passion as part of the YWAM Associates team is to encourage YWAM alumni to continue to see themselves as missionaries where God has planted them after the YWAMers service in YWAM. Walter and Chris also bring YWAM teaching to local churches as they travel.
