Being puzzled by why scripture talks about our both being born again and adopted by our Father, Mo soon discovered that our modern understanding of adoption has nothing to do with what was meant when Paul wrote about receiving adoption as sons in his letters. But it was only when she heard a speaker say, “I have to accept that I’m His bride, and therefore ladies, you have to get used to being His sons”, that she realised this new book was a perfect balance to her previous book ‘The Jewish Wedding and the Bride of Christ’. They are like two sides of the same coin.
In this book Mo has endeavoured to show how we as believers, men and women, are in the privileged position of walking in the significance and the authority that is given to us through our adoption as sons. It is a position that has been obscured for many over the years, because of our understanding of adoption in this day and age. But once we understand adoption as it was originally meant in scripture, it frees us to represent the Father in all we do, in the way that Jesus promised.
